McDonald’s New Year’s Eve Times Square Singalong
McDonald’s has the 3rd largest billboard in NYC and it just so happens to be in the heart of Times Square where thousands of people pile in to watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve. That meant, we had a captive audience, with nothing to really do. Well, except look at our gigantic board and wait until midnight.
So, to help turn their boredom into fun, we turned the McD’s billboard into one of the largest karaoke screens ever created.
It was the perfect plan. Well, until COVID ramped up, causing NYC to dramatically limit the number of people allowed in Times Square. So, just imagine this playing out on the massive board with thousands of people looking up and belting out every word. Of every song.
